A minute of research: our statistics show that Stories have proven themselves as a way to convert viewers into followers, which is exactly why we recommend to publish a couple Public stories, following it up with a story for Followers, encouraging guests to start following your page.
As the saying goes, a Story a day brings all of the boys to the yard - or something like that, anyway, just remember to keep them SFW, unless the Story is for Subscribers only.
